What are the Bus Technician Round Tables?
Every quarter, Sonny Merryman Inc. hosts a School Bus Technician Workshop Series for all of Virginia’s public and private pupil transportation providers. A wide variety of topics are covered during each workshop, but the primary focus centers around school bus maintenance. These sessions are a great opportunity to speak with Sonny Merryman Inc. representatives from all departments, including service, parts, electronics, and sales.
Each workshop includes these parts: initial presentations, group forum, and one-on-one discussions. During the initial presentations, Sonny Merryman Inc. employees from each department will discuss the latest products and topics from their department. This is followed by a group forum where each attendee is given the opportunity to ask questions of any of the Sonny Merryman Inc. employees and also explain any problems there locality is having. This portion of the workshop is especially beneficial to localities as they are given the opportunity to collaborate with neighboring localities as well as Sonny Merryman Inc. staff. The workshop concludes with lunch where Sonny Merryman Inc. employees will talk one-on-one with localities to discuss individual questions.
